Upper Hall

The Upper Hall is one of the larger spaces in the Centre and offers a large and flexible, unobstructed space. The hall very much has the feel of the warehouse the building once was, with its arched windows that let in lots of light. The decor is somewhat bright as the hall is used by the St Leonard's Pre-School!

The room can accommodate up to a maximum of 65 people and can be arranged with tables and chairs, or only chairs. Lower tables and chairs for use by children are available. The room has a pull-down screen and curtains, so can be used for projection. The Upper Hall is ideal for groups working with children, for training sessions or for choir rehearsals.

Please note that currently the Upper Hall is home tothe St Leonard’s Pre-School who meet here on Monday to Thursday in school term-time. During the school term, the Upper Hall is only available during the evening, on Friday afternoon or on Saturdays. Availability is greater in the school holidays.

A lift offers easy access to the first floor where the Upper Hall is located. A kitchen is adjacent to it, with a hatch to allow serving of hot drinks and refreshments. Ladies' and Men's toilets are nearby. We can offer a data projector, speaker or flipchart for use in the Hall at an additional charge.
