The Lower Lounge is on the ground floor of the Centre and is easily accessible. It is a warm and welcoming space that can be used in a variety of ways. The Lounge is suitable for meetings of around 35 people.
The Lower Lounge has comfortable seating and coffee tables that can be used for support groups, or chairs can be arranged for more formal meetings and training sessions. It has a TV screen for projection and a PA system is installed in the room. We make a small charge for using the PA system.
There is another small meeting room adjacent to the Lower Lounge with a sliding door which accommodates around 12 people. This makes the Lounge ideal for groups who as part of their meeting need two separate meeting spaces. This adjacent room also includes a kitchenette with hot water boiler ideal for making tea and coffee. When hiring the Lounge, we make no extra charge for use of the small room and kitchenette.
The Lounge is located next to the disabled toilet, so particularly suits groups where easy accessibility is required.
