Vision and Values

South Street Baptist Church has run the Palace Gate Centre since 1979 as part of its Christian witness and service to the city.

Our VISION statement is:

To be one church of diverse gatherings, where all feel safe, grow in wholeness, and discover and express the unconditional love of God revealed in Jesus.

Through the Palace Gate Centre we seek to express to all the unconditional love of God made known by Jesus.

Our VALUES are:

Hearts moulded by Jesus

Voices sharing stories of God’s love

Arms wide to include all

Minds open to explore differences

Hands working in our community

Ears listening to each other’s needs

Shoulders bearing one another’s burdens

Feet treading lightly on the earth
